Mavromatis Kumquat

Family-run since 1965 on the Paleokastritsa road at Skripero, this distillery turns the island's kumquats into liqueur, spoon sweets, marmalade and glacé fruit alongside ouzo and raisin brandy. Output runs to about a million bottles a year, and the range now stretches to some twenty fruit-flavoured liqueurs.
