Nabeel was founded in Yemen in 1969 by Asghar Adam Ali Al Attar, and moved its manufacturing to the UAE in 1992 with a factory in Sharjah; within five years the company had opened five outlets across Dubai, Sharjah, and Abu Dhabi. In 2002 it built a new corporate and manufacturing base in Sharjah's SAIF Zone, next to Sharjah International Airport, and by 2010 had automated that 200,000-square-foot facility — a scale that has made Nabeel, by its own and industry accounts, the largest incense manufacturer in the region.

The house's range covers oud and oudh chips, bakhoor, attar and oil perfumes, spray perfumes, and mukhamaria, alongside air fresheners and gift sets, exported to more than one hundred countries. Retail today runs through its own outlets — Souk Okadh in Deira, Sahara Centre in Sharjah, Dubai Mall and Dubai Outlet Mall among them — plus a presence in Dubai Duty Free.

From a single Yemeni workshop to an automated Sharjah plant supplying incense and oud products at industrial scale across more than a hundred export markets, Nabeel's growth traces the same arc as several of the Gulf's mid-century perfume houses, built on bakhoor and oud rather than Western-style spray fragrance alone.
