Pure Kashmir, established in 2013, sources handwoven pashmina and cashmere shawls direct from artisans in Srinagar, made from Changthangi goat fibers combed at 14,000 feet on the Changthang plateau. Its techniques include kani weaving with coded-manuscript patterns taking 12 to 18 months, sozni embroidery with a single fine needle, and jali and jamawar embroidery.
