What Sézane is known for

Sézane occupies L'Appartement at 1 rue Saint-Fiacre, in the Sentier quarter of the 2nd arrondissement of Paris. Morgane Sézalory opened it in October 2015, after building the label online. Seasonal collections and monthly capsule editions fill rooms furnished from the Saint-Ouen flea market. Menswear runs separately as Octobre Editions, a few doors along at number 12.

Sézane sells from L'Appartement at 1 rue Saint-Fiacre, in the Sentier quarter of the 2nd arrondissement of Paris. Morgane Sézalory opened the address in October 2015, some years after she established the label online. The rooms keep the proportions of the flat they once were, with high ceilings under ornate moulding. Much of the furniture came out of the Saint-Ouen flea market, chosen by Sézalory herself. A large marble table and deep armchairs stand among the wide fitting rooms.

The stock covers the autumn winter and spring summer collections, along with monthly capsule editions issued in limited runs. Footwear sits alongside the clothing. Jewellery and leather goods occupy the same floor of the shop. A second register runs to the home and the desk: stationery, pouches, household linen, gourmet food, pocket mirrors and terrariums.

The shop works as a connected boutique. Computers and tablets stand through the space, so a visitor can try a garment and then order the size wanted, with delivery included. Grands Boulevards is the closest metro station to the door. Menswear is handled separately under the name Octobre Editions, a few doors along at 12 rue Saint-Fiacre.
