Founded in 1934 and run by the fourth generation of the same family, this Rue du Docteur Paccard institution outfits alpinists heading for Mont Blanc with skis, crampons, ropes and technical clothing. The staff climb and ski the surrounding routes themselves, and the shop rents as well as sells across ski touring, alpinism and trail running.
