The Socialite Family

The Socialite Family started in 2013 as a media title. Constance Gennari began photographing friends at home with their families, drawn to a door detail or a line of furniture that told a story about how they lived. Those portraits of interiors grew a readership. In 2017 the company launched its own furniture line, run from an in-house creative studio in Paris. The collections of furniture and lighting are designed in Paris and made by workshops in Europe, mainly in Italy and France. The house describes its signature as a homage to Italy, the country closest to Gennari's heart. Materials and proportion are the stated priorities, along with the handwork of the artisans who build the pieces. The site continues to publish family portraits alongside the shop, and a linen range sits beside the furniture. Large pieces are delivered by white-glove service to the floor of the customer's choice. The brand runs a programme for architects and decorators as well as a network of resellers. Gennari remains founder and artistic director. She now works with a team rather than alone, as the site puts it. The company operates physical boutiques as well as the online store, and a professional programme serves the trade.
