What The Stronghold is known for
Since 1895, The Stronghold has sold selvedge denim, western hats, wax canvas jackets, Freenote Cloth, Alden shoes and heritage menswear from its Venice workshop, cutting and stitching garments in-house on vintage Union Special machines with copper rivets. Henry Fonda wore Stronghold bib-overalls as Tom Joad in The Grapes of Wrath.
