Confiserie Schuh has made chocolates and pastries beside the Höhematte in central Interlaken since the end of the 19th century, hand-piping petit fours and pralines alongside its own ice cream. The café still shapes bespoke chocolate pieces to order for weddings and events, the custom work it built its reputation on.
Funky Chocolate Club runs from Postgasse in central Interlaken, pairing a chocolate-tasting counter with hands-on tempering workshops rather than just selling boxed pralines. The shop stocks fair-trade and organic bars from independent Swiss chocolatiers alongside vegan and gluten-free options, plus its own hot chocolate and cakes.

Fritz Kirchhofer opened the first Kirchhofer watch shop in Interlaken in 1944, and the business passed to his children in 1982 while keeping its base between the Aare and the Jungfrau. It now represents more than 60 Swiss watch brands from its Interlaken, Grindelwald and Jungfraujoch stores, still run as one family company rather than a franchise network.
Wyss Souvenirs trades from Chalet Diana, a heritage-listed building on Interlaken's Höheweg restored in 2017, stocking antique furniture, wood carvings and regional handicrafts rather than mass-produced trinkets. Its range runs from cuckoo clocks to pocketknives, curated under one roof on the promenade for longer than most of the shops around it have existed.
