Walk to City Lights Booksellers & Publishers at 261 Columbus Avenue. Buy a City Lights imprint or a title with a lineage. Leave Beat keychains.
If Ferry Building chocolate is still open, continue to Recchiuti Confections at 1 Ferry Building Shop #30 for a small box. Ask California herb notes. Do not let the food hall expand into a second lunch that kills Fort Mason or Haight time. Keep the box cool.
16:00: SoMa design or Haight books
Option A: SFMOMA Museum Store at 151 Third Street for a catalogue tied to a show. Civic Center can add Cha May Ching Museum Boutique at 200 Larkin Street if Asian Art Museum hours align (Thursday–Monday pattern on the ORBIS card). Ask maker region and exhibition tie.

What to skip on the walking day
Skip The RealReal at 253 Post Street unless authenticated consignment is the only errand. It is a secondary local pointer Union Square marketplace for this package.
