What Blend Station is known for
Single-farm lots from Villaflores, Chiapas and Oaxaca's La Mixteca, roasted on-site, with proceeds financing growers through Café con Causa.
Alejandro founded Blend Station in Mexico City on a specific mission: proving Mexican coffee could compete with any coffee in the world, and the roastery backs that claim with sourcing detail rather than slogans — every bean traces to a named farm, among them Villaflores in Chiapas and farms in Oaxaca's La Mixteca and San Juan Juquila regions, all roasted on-site.
Blend Station also runs a program called Café con Causa, which finances the farmers it buys from directly, tying the roastery's growth to the growers' own.
Between the named-farm sourcing and the farmer-financing program, Blend Station's founding mission reads less as marketing copy and more as an operating model — every roasted bag is meant to double as evidence for the argument it was founded to make.
