Sisters Christa and Traci Pister began this bakery in Cayucos in 2004, baking shortbread rounds from slow-browned butter and finishing each with a pinch of sea salt for a caramelized, nutty bite. The shop turns out flavors from original and cocoa to citrus and espresso, boxing tins for shipping across the country.
