Café Younes has been roasting coffee in Beirut since 1935 and is now run by the family's third generation. The original Hamra shop still roasts and grinds its coffee on the premises, a practice that has continued through the decades since the business first opened.

The shop sells single-origin and signature-blend whole beans at retail, the same roasting operation that has anchored the Hamra address for nine decades now also supplying a wider network of roughly twenty coffeeshops across Lebanon, the UAE, and Egypt. That spread has carried the Younes name well beyond Beirut while keeping the actual roasting centered at the original shop.

Ninety years of continuous roasting under one family, still centered on the same Hamra premises even as the brand has grown into a regional network, makes Café Younes one of the longest-running coffee houses in Beirut and a reference point for Lebanese coffee retail more broadly.
