Brothers Mark and Chris Marshall started the business with their mother Deborah Marshall, and the idea grew from home-brewing served with seafood and burgers. The brothers' fishing and boating around the Barrier Islands made the seashore town the natural home for the brewery. Family members work the front of house and the production floor daily, and the founders describe the place as a family affair. Mark Marshall handles general operations after 32 years in public safety and also writes and sings his own songs. Chris Marshall runs distribution and off-site sales. Deborah Marshall, a baker and entrepreneur, advises. Zach Diamond is head brewer, and Rachel Diamond, a former teacher, is general manager. The tagline is craft brews and tasty eats with an Eastern Shore twist, and the brewery describes itself as a destination for events as well as beer and food.
