Centro de Textiles Tradicionales del Cusco - Chinchero (Away Riqcharicheq Weavers)

Chinchero's Away Riqcharicheq weavers were the founding community of the Center for Traditional Textiles of Cusco, reviving complementary warp-face weaving and the town's signature luraypu motif on reversible lliklla blankets. Since the 1990s they have recovered natural dyes such as indigo, cochineal red, and chilka green, giving demonstrations and selling handwoven textiles from the ten CTTC partner communities at their daily shop.
