Cozmo

Cozmo is a premium supermarket in Amman founded in 2003 by THE Group. The same Jordanian retail company runs THE Department Store and Hamleys, as well as Readers Bookshop and Cozmo Home. Its main store at 7th Circle covers 4,800 square metres. The range runs from fresh food and grocery staples to specialty items and household goods, mixing local products with imported ones. Inside, THE Bakery bakes breads and pastries daily in a Mediterranean and Western style, and custom cakes to order. An Organic and Free From section gathers gluten-free and vegan lines as well as keto and sugar-free products. From 2010 the group added Simply Cozmo, a neighbourhood gourmet market format that now has seven branches across Amman. It also runs a small Cozmo boutique inside The Ritz-Carlton Residences for residents there. In 2016 THE Group launched cozmo.jo, which it describes as Jordan's first major online grocery platform, delivering the same range to the door. A mobile app has followed. Customer service for online orders is handled from Amman, and a store locator lists the main branch alongside the Simply Cozmo shops.
