Erfurter Blau – Waid-Manufaktur

Rosanna Minelli's workshop on the Krämerbrücke revives Erfurt's medieval woad trade, dyeing silk scarves, linen and wool in the deep indigo once known as Erfurt blue. The leaves are grown by a local organic farm, and the shop also runs dyeing workshops and city walks tracing the plant's history.
