Eska was founded by Josef Eska in 1912 in Bärringen, near Karlsbad, and relocated to Thalheim bei Wels in Austria in 1946. The fourth-generation house now concentrates on gloves, from robust professional leather styles to finer everyday pairs. Its product descriptions emphasize hand cutting and hand sewing for fit, making construction and intended use the most useful points of comparison for a buyer. Current head Paul Loos continues the family line.
