Fanilo Miampita, founded in 1995 in Antsirabe, Madagascar, is a family atelier working with wild silk, treated cottons, pearls and gold thread, using hand sewing, embroidery, knitting and screen printing to create traditional Malagasy and custom-commissioned pieces. Director Lanto Randrianalifera says the enterprise provides stable employment, social protection and equitable salaries.
