What Hangesho is known for
Hangesho sells Kyoto fans -- including summer, decorative, dance and hinoki-cypress fans -- and offers a fan-throwing game experience described as a refined pastime continuing from the Edo period, plus a fan-painting experience where customers decorate a fan surface for craftsmen to finish. It is located near Miyagawa-cho in Kyoto's Higashiyama district.
