Hiramatsu Shunshoen

Hiramatsu Shunshoen has shaped bonsai at its 150-year-old garden in Takamatsu's Kokubunji district for four generations, with fourth-generation grower Koji Hiramatsu and his apprentices wiring and training black pine and shimpaku one tree at a time. Each one-of-a-kind bonsai is sold through the nursery's own online shop, complete with an augmented-reality tool to preview its size at home.
