What Jeonju Jujo is known for
Jeonju Jujo has brewed moju, the city's spiced rice wine rooted in a Joseon-era recipe recorded in the historical text Daedong Yasseung, since 1936, and its recipe now carries the registered Jeonju Moju geographical-indication mark. The brewery also bottles fresh, black-bean, and standard makgeolli at its Deokjin-gu facility, and its line was selected for the 2019 Seoul Awards.
