What Marionety Truhlar is known for
Founded by master puppeteer Pavel Truhlar and based on Boleslavska street in Vinohrady, Prague, the studio hand-carves marionettes from linden and beech wood finished with plaster, leather, oil paints and crayons, after running a shop-gallery for 27 years until it closed in September 2020. It also offers custom portrait marionettes, DIY marionette kits, and puppet-carving workshops of one week or three days.
