What Mezimbite Forest Centre is known for
Mezimbite Forest Centre, established in Mozambique in May 1994 by Allan Schwarz, designs and crafts fine hardwood furniture and personal care products while running tree reforestation and skills training programs. Schwarz, who studied at Wits University and MIT, moved to Mozambique after the civil war to pursue sustainable design based on his woodworking experience.
