Oftt is a Berlin fashion label built around a collection of ten numbered wardrobe categories, running from 01 T-Shirts to 10 Coats. The name is read as clothes you wear often, and the numbers are described as an edit rather than a ranking. Founder Ashley Marc Hovelle ran a namesake fashion brand before launching Oftt on its ten year anniversary. Every piece is designed without a gender attached to the cut, and each product page records the fabric weight and cut along with construction decisions. Garments are produced in small batches in family run factories in Portugal and Romania, which the brand visits. When a piece sells through it may be reproduced later, and there are no sales because the price is set once. The brand describes its cotton as grown organically and mostly with rainwater, and it works with GOTS certified factories. Oftt keeps a flagship store at Rosa Luxemburg Str. 23 in Berlin, where the OFTT and 1331 brands share one space as a family business.
