A family-run paua shell workshop founded in 1987 by Brian and Lisa O'Connor, who moved the business from Riverton to Kaikoura in 1998 to be closer to the coast and its tourist trade. The factory cuts and polishes South Island paua alongside black pearl and mother-of-pearl into necklaces, earrings, buttons and beads on site.
