What Zanvari is known for

Zanvari has worked silver in Saddar, Karachi since 1947, the year Pakistan was founded, and is now run by the third generation of the family workshop. It sets 925 sterling silver with genuine gemstones, moissanite, and pearls to order rather than casting in bulk, and backs the jewellery with free lifetime replating and a buyback program.

Zanvari opened as a family silver workshop in Saddar, Karachi, in 1947, the year Pakistan itself came into being, and three generations later the bench is still in the same quarter. The craft passed from grandfather to father to son, and the house frames the inheritance as a conviction rather than a technique: jewellery should be made with intention, set with genuine stones and built to outlast its buyer. Work is in 925 sterling silver finished with rhodium or 22k gold plating, set with certified moissanite, natural gemstones such as ruby and sapphire, and freshwater pearls. Every piece is made to order, so production takes weeks rather than days, and the crafting time is stated on each product page. Two promises follow the sale. Plating that fades is renewed free for as long as the owner keeps the piece, in rhodium or gold tones. Any Zanvari piece can also be sold back to the house for half of what was paid. Men's ranges include aqeeq and feroza stone rings alongside cufflinks. The workshop sits at Shop No. 5, Gems Jewelers and Trade Centre, Blenken Street, and visitors are welcome to hold a piece and meet its makers.
