What Perfumed Prague is known for
Perfumed Prague is a fragrance studio founded in 2016 by Ola Dworzycka and Borys Kudela. Visitors blend a personal perfume from hundreds of essences in a laboratory-like room at Karolina Svetlé 285/20 in the Old Town. The pair studied perfumery in Grasse. A second showroom in Letná, opened in 2021, carries the house's soy candles and interior perfumes as well as aroma diffusers.
Perfumed Prague was founded in 2016 by Ola Dworzycka and Borys Kudela as a fragrance studio where visitors compose their own perfume. The two left Warsaw for the Czech Republic and spent time in Grasse studying perfumery before opening in Prague. Their workshop at Karolina Svetlé 285/20 in the Old Town is set out like a laboratory. It is lined with pharmacy bottles of Czech glass holding hundreds of essences. Ola leads each session, guiding participants through the selection until a fragrance fits. Each finished bottle gets a name of the maker's choosing on its label. The studio also produces its own soy candles and interior perfumes under the Perfumed Prague name, along with aroma diffusers. In 2021 it opened a second showroom in Letná at Milady Horakove 51, given over to that range. A ready to wear perfume collection followed. Labels can be typed on a typewriter for gifts, and empty containers can be returned to the studio for refilling. The studio has also composed scents for the glassmaker Preciosa and for Villa Tugendhat.
