Té Quiero Té

Té Quiero Té opened in March 2011 on Avenida 28 de Julio in Lima's Miraflores district, half a block from the neighborhood's main commercial artery, before moving to its current second-floor shop on Pasaje Los Pinos. The business built its identity around loose-leaf tea specifically, at a time when Lima's specialty-beverage retail was still dominated almost entirely by coffee.

The shop's catalog runs past 80 varieties of loose-leaf tea and herbal infusions, sourced, by the company's own description, from some of the world's best-known tea plantations, alongside a line of infusers, teapots and cups. Beyond selling tea, the shop frames itself as an information point for customers new to loose-leaf brewing, offering guidance on preparation and steeping rather than treating the sale as the end of the interaction.

More than a decade since opening, Té Quiero Té describes a customer base that has stayed with the shop across that whole stretch, alongside a newer wave of Peruvians increasingly curious about tea as a category distinct from the herbal infusions long native to Peru's own pharmacopeia. It remains one of the few Lima addresses built specifically around loose-leaf tea rather than treating it as a secondary line next to coffee or the country's traditional herbal infusions.
