This route is a craft walk through Śródmieście with denser expand clusters and optional district chapters, not a mall crawl. It assumes one full day on foot and tram, with Praga, Mokotów, Żoliborz, Ochota, and Niepodległości treated as separate chapters. Thesis: buy the workshop and the independent house, not the mall chain floor. Confirm hours before you start. Bespoke doors do not run like airports.
Start: Chmielna book and craft strip
Begin at Jan Kielman, Chmielna 6, when shoes are on the brief. If you are not commissioning, still stop long enough to understand what a family shoe workshop looks like after 1883 of continuity on the same street. Ask last and leather even if you buy nothing.
