Jerseys and leather jackets form part of that brand's range, alongside trousers made from PVC. OBS handcrafts bags and small leather goods in Berlin, extending its use of considered materials into jewellery and clothing.

Trouser-only sub-line of the German brand Brax (trousers since 1950, parent company founded in Berlin in 1888), on the market since 1995 with an ergonomic 'Perfect Cut' sizing system built for a range of body types, including plus sizes.
Best for Trousers, casual; Premium trousers
Eurex by Brax is a trousers-only line within the German company Brax, whose roots go back to 1888, when Bernward Leineweber opened a clothing business in Berlin. Brax itself, as a dedicated trousers brand marketed under the slogan 'the trousers of progress,' launched in 1950. Eurex was introduced in 1995 as a specialist offering built around a proprietary 'Perfect Cut' pattern system, engineered to fit a wider range of body shapes - including larger sizes - than a standard trouser block. The line covers chinos, jeans and dress trousers, and is stocked both through Brax's own retail channels and specialist plus-size menswear retailers such as Hirmer big & tall.
Berlin collaborative brand born from the dance floor — deadstock materials from Milan, tight jerseys, PVC pants, and bulky leather jackets. Resistance through fashion.
Historic Berlin department store on Hermannplatz, opened in 1929 as Europe's largest department store with its own U-Bahn entrance and Art Deco twin towers; badly damaged in WWII, rebuilt, and now trades as a Galeria store following the 2019 Karstadt-Kaufhof merger.
Best for Fashion, home goods, and a rooftop terrace at Hermannplatz
The Hermannplatz department store, on the border of Kreuzberg and Neukolln, opened in 1929 to significant fanfare, designed in an Expressionist style by architect Philipp Schaeffer for the Karstadt group. At the time it was the largest department store in Europe, featuring escalators, lifts, a roof terrace, and its own direct entrance from the Hermannplatz U-Bahn station. The building was badly damaged during the Second World War, and only the southwest wing of the original structure survives. The store has continued trading on the same site, and today operates as a Galeria store following the 2019 merger of Karstadt and Kaufhof into Galeria.
Berlin sustainable fashion label built around ten numbered wardrobe essentials (T-shirts through coats), founded by creative director Ashley Marc Hovelle. Uses organic, rainwater-grown cotton and fair-factory production in Portugal; flagship store on Rosa-Luxemburg-Straße.
Best for One of ten numbered wardrobe staples, from 01 T-Shirts to 10 Coats
Oftt is a Berlin fashion label built around a collection of ten numbered wardrobe categories, running from 01 T-Shirts to 10 Coats. The name is read as clothes you wear often, and the numbers are described as an edit rather than a ranking. Founder Ashley Marc Hovelle ran a namesake fashion brand before launching Oftt on its ten year anniversary. Every piece is designed without a gender attached to the cut, and each product page records the fabric weight and cut along with construction decisions. Garments are produced in small batches in family run factories in Portugal and Romania, which the brand visits. When a piece sells through it may be reproduced later, and there are no sales because the price is set once. The brand describes its cotton as grown organically and mostly with rainwater, and it works with GOTS certified factories. Oftt keeps a flagship store at Rosa Luxemburg Str. 23 in Berlin, where the OFTT and 1331 brands share one space as a family business. Visitors can see the full collection of ten there along with in store exclusives.
PLATTE is a Berlin platform for the city’s next generation of fashion, combining a concept-and-event space with an education hub, photo studio and collaborative projects. Its store gives shelf space to local labels while the wider program connects emerging designers with audiences and industry.
