Duck's Cottage Coffee & Books

Duck's Cottage occupies a 1921 building that began as the Powder Ridge Gun Club before becoming a coffee-and-bookshop in 2002, serving espresso drinks, cold brew, and pastries beside bestsellers, staff picks, and Outer Banks titles. Opened by childhood friends John Power and Allen LeHew, the store sits at the Waterfront Shops on Currituck Sound and has been run by bookstore manager Jamie Anderson since 2023.
