Café Kaffeehaus

Café Kaffeehaus, established in Arequipa in 2016 by a Peruvian-German team, built its roasting program around what it describes as the first Giesen roasting machine brought into Peru, applying a European roasting technique to coffee that is 100 percent Peruvian arabica. The lots themselves are traceable single-origins from Chirinos, Cusco, and El Perené — three distinct Peruvian growing regions kept separate rather than blended into a house profile.

The pairing is the point: German roasting equipment and technique meeting Peruvian-grown beans, run by a team whose own name signals that same cross-cultural origin.

It's a roastery defined less by a single flagship lot than by the specific machine it imported and the discipline of keeping three regional origins traceable and distinct.
